Absolutely love my ratchet ! I tried ordering direct from capri , guess what ? Out of stock! So I started searching online and came across Val tools again . I’ve watched her videos plenty of times . Amazing ratchet and those free work socks are a game changer I will be buying more of the socks for sure . Ratchet is well built and looks better than my Matco and way cheaper than snap on

This ratchet is not only beautiful but it’s quality looks and feels amazing. The socks were the cherry on top thanks Val will definitely be ordering more

Great ratchet

Great ratchet, I like that the head is indexing and locks. It's nice for tight spaces where you can't fit a hand on the socket/bolt. Smooth mechanism and comfortable handle.

Perfect upgrade to an already good tool

Similar comment to the 1/4" ratchet review I just posted. I actually meant to say my C1 3/8" had an issue with the button. My 1/4" C1 actually broke under not abusive use (was an internal failure in the reversing mechanism and Capri sent me out a replacement kit. I may have overgreased it when rebuilding because, after that, it would sometimes reverse on its own. That's the main reason I say C1 was good but not great. I got an early one and perhaps they were still working out some QC issues.

My one functional issue with the C1 in general was the locking button design only allowed the head to stay in locked position. This C2 design allows the head to move freely when the lock is not engaged. And the button is more flush with the head. A much better design and a better feeling operation in the head and flex joint overall. Simply put, the C2 feels like a significant upgrade to an already good tool.

Also shout out to Val Tools. Great packaging and the only place on the internet I could find the C2's.

Val is proving to not only be good at making viral videos, but at delivering a tool truck like experience to online shoppers, as much as that is possible.

Furthermore, I appreciate that Capri is supporting independent tool trucks. The combination of Capri and Val Tools makes this a great overall experience and purchase.
